TERMS & CONDITIONS TYOC
Delivered by Courage X in collaboration with Harvest.
We care deeply about the individuals who join The Year of Courage.
This is not just a learning experience—it’s a structured journey designed to help you connect, reflect, and act courageously in the areas of life that matter most.
Courage, by its nature, involves uncertainty. While we cannot promise outcomes, we can promise the integrity of the process: a thoughtfully held, high-trust space where you’ll be supported to stretch, share, and grow.
These Terms & Conditions exist not to distance ourselves from your experience, but to ensure clarity, transparency, and mutual trust between all parties.
-
TYOC is a shared space for learning and transformation, and that depends on trust. These agreements create the ground for everyone to engage fully:
Show up prepared and present
Treat others with respect and care
Keep all shared stories confidential
Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior
Protect intellectual property—no sharing, recording, or publishing content without permission
Facilitators and Courage X staff will treat all disclosures as confidential unless legally required to report a concern, such as serious risk of harm to self or others.
Enforcement:
Violations may lead to a warning or removal from the program without refund. Written appeals may be submitted within 7 days.
-
Consistency builds trust. Your presence directly shapes the value of this experience—for you and for others.
Minimum attendance: 80% of Pod Sessions required
Missing two sessions in a row without prior notice may result in removal without refund
If emergencies prevent your participation, contact the Program Director within 7 days to request a reintegration plan
-
Each participant is placed in a carefully curated group—or Pod—based on timezone, experience, diversity, and availability. These Pods are designed to foster depth, dialogue, and courageous action.
TYOC is built on the principle that we grow not by avoiding friction, but by learning to navigate difference with care and courage. Reassigning groups would weaken the continuity and cohesion that make this possible.
Group changes are not permitted once the program begins—except in exceptional cases involving unresolved ethical concerns or pre-existing conflicts. These must be submitted in writing and will be reviewed by the Program Director.
-
We respect the commitment you’re making. Our refund policy balances fairness to participants with the realities of a highly personalized, small-group program:
No refunds after May 25, 2025
30% cancellation fee applies before that date
Full refund only if the program is canceled due to low enrollment (<24 participants)
Refunds (if eligible) are only processed after a resolution conversation with the Program Director
Force Majeure:
If external events prevent TYOC from being delivered, a pro-rated refund will be issued.
Payment Plans:
All payments must be completed unless otherwise agreed in writing.
-
We handle your personal data with care and compliance.
TYOC is GDPR compliant
We collect only essential information and store it securely
You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting office@couragex.co
Data is deleted or anonymized within 6 months of program completion
-
To maintain psychological safety and protect intellectual property:
Pod Sessions are never recorded
AMA sessions may be recorded only with speaker consent
You may not record, screenshot, summarize, or share any TYOC content without written permission
Unauthorized sharing may result in removal from the program, legal action, and/or a monetary fine
-
We aim to handle all concerns fairly and respectfully.
If a conflict arises, participants agree to:
Raise it directly with your facilitator
Submit a written complaint to the Program Director
Accept the final decision of the Program Director
Note: There is no mediation clause. Jurisdiction applies as outlined below.
-
TYOC is not therapy, coaching, or medical treatment.
It is a high-trust, peer-driven process designed to support courageous reflection, connection, and action.
We apply all reasonable care and intention to create a psychologically safe space. That said, each participant must take full responsibility for themselves—just as we must in life.
By enrolling, you agree:
To participate voluntarily
That you are solely responsible for your wellbeing, choices, and outcomes
That you will not hold Courage X, Harvest, facilitators, speakers, or peers liable for any emotional, professional, financial, health-related, or relational consequences of your participation
That you release Courage X and Harvest from legal claims, unless required by law
-
To ensure mutual safety, you agree to:
Indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Courage X, Harvest, and their affiliates from any claims, losses, or legal expenses related to:
Your participation
Your actions or decisions
Confidentiality breaches
Conflicts with other participants
-
